GENERAL

Food is prepared exactly as requested by each pet parent. Each location also provides in-house lunch food at no extra charge for days when the lunch is forgotten.

At DOAB, we strive to create a safe environment for dogs, but we understand that not every dog will get along. Our team is highly trained to understand dog body language, and if we see that an animal is becoming agitated and aggressive, we will take steps to remove that dog from the situation before it can escalate.

Since our environment is like a child’s daycare, we do acknowledge that the occasional squabble may break out. That’s why we train our team to recognize these situations and remove a dog that may cause problems with other canines.

Yes! We require that all dogs are on a leash or slip lead with a collar/harness both in our parking lot and in our lobby.

DAYCARE

Besides giving you a safe environment to leave your dog in, it will also help with their socialization and help them to stay fit and active. Check out our Dog Blog for all of the health and social benefits daycare can offer to your dog.

Indoor doggie daycare has no negative impact on house training. Dogs don’t think about inside vs. outside the way people do. They view the world around them through smell, sight, and sound in a different way. Their nose will be full of new scents to explore as they meet their new BFFFs. They will see many wagging tails and hear excited yips and words of praise for playing excitedly! Because the sights, smells, and sounds of our indoor playrooms are different from what they experience at home, you don’t have to worry about it impacting your house training. After 20+ years in the business, we can confidently say that open play at DOAB does not translate to dogs going potty in the house.

BOARDING

Your pup’s comfort is very important to us! We always prefer pups enjoy the nutritious food that they are used to from home, but in the event you run out or forget a meal, we will provide a high-quality, in-house meal and are happy to provide bedding during a boarding stay if needed or if you prefer.

We offer overnight, weekend, and extended-stay boarding.

SPA

Absolutely! We offer spa options as part of our boarding packages.

We offer spa services by appointment, as well. Some of our locations also offer grooming.

TRAINING

Consistency is key! Our professional trainers identify the specific behavior you want to address and use positive reinforcement to reward good behavior. We always recommend enrolling in our basic obedience class to enhance your pup’s training skills.

The DOAB approach stands for Discipline, Obedience, Affection, and Bonding. It emphasizes a balanced training strategy that combines consistent discipline, positive reinforcement for obedience, genuine affection, and building a strong bond with your puppy. This approach aims to create a well-behaved and happy canine companion, fostering a positive and loving relationship between you and your furry friend.
